Damaged or missing timber?

Many old homes often have areas outside the home, such as around windows where timber has been damaged or eaten away by rot. You don't need to replace the whole thing, Selleys can help you rebuild what's missing or damaged.

Selleys Knead It Multipurpose is a two part epoxy that can be shaped and manipulated into the desired space for effective repair or replacement of damaged timber.

As an epoxy putty it bonds better to timber, will importantly hold up to weather and general wear and tear and will harden to a completely solid form but will not shrink.

Once hardened, Selleys Knead It Multipurpose can be drilled, filed, machined, screwed, sawn, sanded, stained and painted so once your job is complete, no one will be any the wiser!

It takes about an hour to fully harden, but will be hard enough within 5-10 minutes to be unworkable. For this reason, when using Selleys Knead It Multipurpose, it is often better to work with smaller quantities and add to as required.

Note that Selleys Knead It Multipurpose is not recommended for filling or sealing joints/cracks subject to movement as the cured product is extremely hard and inflexible. For this type of repair use Selleys No More Gaps Multipurpose.
