Discoloured or blackened mirrors?

Ever wondered why some mirrors discolour or de-silver, when they have been adhered to another substrate such as a wall or tile?

This is because the incorrect construction adhesive to adhere it, resulting in the silver on the back of the mirror being eaten away and/or the dried adhesive showing on the mirror.

Unlike most solvent adhesives Selleys Liquid Nails Mirror, Metal and Glass Construction Adhesive is the only task specific construction adhesive on the market for adhering mirrors which doesn't release solvents when it cures and therefore won't discolour mirrors.  It is a premium grade, high strength construction that delivers a consistently strong bond for years to come. It is also has high temperature resistance making it ideal for areas such as bathrooms and laundries.

Selleys Liquid Nails Mirror, Metal and Glass works best on glass mirrors and mirror tiles.  It is not recommended for vinyl backed plastic mirrors.
