How to use this product
- Surfaces must be clean and free from flaking paint, dust or grit.
- Apply adhesive to wall or floor and spread with a notched trowel.
- Press the tile into the adhesive bed.
- Use matchsticks between the tiles to allow for grouting.
- A small space (3mm) must be left between adjoining walls and every 3m of tiled surface to take up expansion and contraction. Selleys Bathroom and Kitchen Sealant is an ideal flexible grout for these expansion joints.
- Allow 24 hours for adhesive to set before grouting with Selleys Tile Grout.
- Tile Bond may be used as a primer, for porous surfaces, by mixing 1 part Tile Bond and 2 parts water. (Allow 1 hour for primer to dry before tiling).

Handy tips
- 650g of Tile Bond is sufficient for ½ sq. metre of tiles depending on the nature of the surface.
- It is advisable not to spread more Tile Bond than can be tiled conveniently within 15 minutes or less in hot, dry conditions.
- If the tiles do not stick readily then too much time has elapsed between application of adhesive and tiles. Remove adhesive and reapply.

|
Safety tips
- Tile Bond is considered a low hazard material.
- In case of eye contact flush with water for 15 minutes.
|
|
|
Storage and re-use
- Clean-up is easy with water, while the adhesive is still wet.
- Remove excess Tile Bond from tools and tiled surfaces with water, before it sets completely.
