Can you advise the maximum temperature that Shoe Fix can withstand before it starts coming adrift?

I intend to use it to glue velcro to running shoes to hold sand gaiters in place for a walk in the desert in high temperatures, perhaps above 50 degrees surface temperature. Is there a better product to use?

Hi John

Shoe Fix will tolerate temperatures up to 90 degC however the problem you will have is that the plastic backing of Velcro is polyethylene and non of our glues will bond to this material.

You may need to get Velcro strips that have an adhesive backing on them.
