Liquid Nails Direct Stick Remover is a special, slightly gelled, solvent, which can soften films of cured Selleys Liquid Nails Direct Stick timber flooring adhesives to aid removal from the top surface of pre-finished timber flooring using a special scaper.

Uses

For removing Selleys Liquid Nails Direct Stick timber flooring adhesives from suitable hard UV or heat cured pre-finished wooden flooring, steel trowels and other tools. It is also suitable for wiping over pre-finished flooring during installation so that any surface contamination by these adhesives can be more easily removed at a later time with this remover.

An effective stripper for removing cured Selleys Liquid Nails Direct Stick timber flooring adhesives from metal application tools and woodcutting tools.

Technical Features

  • Light gel consistency to reduce “run away” when applied to surfaces.
  • Supplied ready to use.
  • Powerful softening of one-part room temperature cured polyurethane adhesives.

  • Long lasting (slow evaporating). Soaked cleaning cloths can be stored in plastic re-sealable bags and re-used.

Application Tips

  • Shake can well before opening to ensure the contents are uniform. Wear solvent resitant gloves.
  • Spread out tissue trimmed to a size larger than the adhesive smeared area.
  • Pour or spoon remover onto the centre of the tissue until it is completely soaked and flattened down to be in intimate contact all over the surface.
  • After soaking, lift off the still soaking tissue and use only the special plastic scraper provided to scrape off the adhesive.

h3.Soaking time

  • Untreated adhesive smears:- from 4 hours to over-night depending on thickness and how long the smear has cured.
  • Pre-treated adhesive smears:- normally about 1 to 2 hours.

Clean up

Wipe up spills immediately with dry cloth or paper towels and then clean the surface with a dilute solution of suitable detergent and wipe dry.
