Sugar Soap is excellent for cleaning mould and mildew from surfaces both indoors and outdoors before repainting. Whilst Sugar Soap will clean off visible mould it does not kill the mould spores and therefore if conditions are conducive to mould growth the mould may return. To help prevent this you can use a bleach or white vinegar solution after cleaning to kill any existing mould spores on the surfaces. Apply and then rinse off thoroughly - some safety precautions required to do this. If repainting and anti mould additive can be added into your paint to help prevent future mould.
