What does Selleys Sugar Soap do to brass and aluminum?
I went on a cleaning frenzy and cleaned my brass door handles and fixtures with Sugar Soap , I did not wipe away. They do not seem to be damaged or have I done damage that I cannot see?

We recommend that you DO NOT use Selleys Liquid Sugar Soap on brass or aluminium. It can tarnish or discolour brass and aluminium metals if they are bare. It can leave a hard-to-remove deposit if left to dry on hard surfaces like glass or smooth metals.
If you do accidentally use this on brass and aluminium surfaces please be sure to wipe it off immediately.
